CRANE BRIDGE:
- Type - Plate box / standard rolled steel joist / compound beams / Castellated / Lattice Construction
- All the main butt-weld joints of the web are 100% radiographed ensuring reliability of welded joints
- The material of construction conforms to IS:2062.
GEAR BOX:
- Totally enclosed oil immersed reduction Helical Hardened & Ground gears
- Made from Special alloy steel forging
- Gears and pinions are supported on antifriction ball / roller bearing to protect gear train from shock loads.
WHEEL ASSEMBLIES:
- Straight treaded Double Flanged
- Made from Forged steel
- Supported on antifriction ball or double row self aligned spherical roller bearings
- Wheel Blocks of 'L' type design ('L' type bearings) for easy maintenance
- Open Geared Wheeltypes also available on request
MICRO SPEED:
- Micro speed for hoist, trolley or cranes at the rate of 5% to 20% of the main speed
- Achieved through VVVF (Variable Voltage Variable Frequency) Drive
- Can also be achieved by a Planetory gearing system and pony motor with separate brake unit.
- Can also be achieved by Dual Pole Motors
COUPLINGS:
- Flexible gear couplings provided in between gear box and rope drum to withstand the misalignment
- Geared couplings provided between gear box and wheel in travel drives
- Direct Positive drives using Geared Motors are also available
BRAKES:
- 'Fail safe' Electro hydraulic A.C. Thrustor brakes are provided
- ACEM / DCEM shoe brakes are also provided on request
- DCEM Disc Brakes are provided invariably with geared motor positive drives.
L.T. DRIVE:
- Independent drive (twin drive) are provided as a standard for smooth operations
- For high speed cranes, drives on all 4 wheels are also available
MOTORS:
- Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC)
- S-4 Crane Duty
- 40% CDF, 150 Starts / hr.
- Confirming to IS:325 of reputed makes
- Voltage variations from 380V to 460V are also available on request to suit International Power Supplies
CONTROL:
- Pendent control from floor
- Master controller from cabin
- Radio Remote control
